Phil Thurman

Writer/Director Phil Thurman is a native of Southern California. After attending San Diego State, he went on to study film at Chapman University where he won the “Filmmaker of the Year” award for his short film “Cadillac King”. Since then he has created commercials for Vestal Watches and Teleguia Magazine. It was Thurman’s series of comedic shorts called Underbelly that lead him to direct and edit GUY IN ROW FIVE. Currently, he is in postt-production with his feature thriller DEGENERATE, and has just written the final draft to his latest feature comedy entitled COACH TED.

 

Jonathon E. Stewart

Writer/Director Jonathon E. Stewart cut his teeth in Hollywood on various bits for promotional TV, commercials & music videos over the past several years after graduating from Dartmouth College. Since completing GUY IN ROW FIVE, his first feature as Director and Producer, Stewart has continued working on both film and commercial projects. Most recently, he snagged the award for BEST DIRECTOR at the 2005 San Francisco 48-Hour Film Festival, and directed a music video for the band HELMET, which will be released in the fall of 2005. He is currently developing his latest feature project based on his as-of-yet untitled script. Stewart can also be seen strumming the guitar in the opening credits of THE SWEETEST THING, and served as the Director of Development for indie production company "Grover in CA" from 2001 to 2004.
